Collaborative educational initiative provided by Penn Medicine and the National Cancer Centre Singapore.
This comprehensive program provides a strong foundation in the principles and clinical rationale behind safe, precise, and effective proton therapy delivery. Participants will first gain access to web-based educational modules presented by Penn Medicine proton therapy experts,, designed to establish core concepts and prepare learners for in-person application. These modules serve as a prerequisite to the immersive on-site experience.
The program culminates in a 5-day, in person course held at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, where participants will explore proton therapy concepts in real time through hands-on learning, case-based discussion, and direct engagement with experienced professionals. Attendees will build confidence in managing daily operational responsibilities and navigating unexpected challenges, while receiving real-time feedback and practical insights.
Through interactive sessions and peer-to-peer exchange, participants will explore strategies to optimize workflows, improve efficiencies, and minimize delays and complications—while expanding their global professional network in a collaborative learning environment.
